In July, we added three new integrations with Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams! We enhanced comments and the find functionality. Plus, we released two new features that enterprise administrators will love. Read on to learn more.

Add a shared digital canvas to your next Zoom meeting

With the MURAL App for Zoom, you can now share a mural inside of a Zoom meeting so that all participants can collaborate visually in real time with sticky notes, drawings, diagrams, images, and more. Leverage MURAL’s Facilitation Superpowers™ and ready-to-use meeting templates to get more out of your video meetings.

👉  Here’s our support article for step-by-step setup tips that will have you zooming into better teamwork.
🤝 And here’s a template for leading a surprisingly fun show-and-tell warmup in your next meeting.

Experience the power of supercharged collaboration in Microsoft Teams

Add murals as tabs in Microsoft Teams for seamless collaboration

Now, you can experience the full suite of MURAL’s visual collaboration features with the MURAL App for Microsoft Teams. Easily add murals as tabs in a Teams channel to align and empower teams with seamless workflows and supercharged collaboration using all of MURAL’s visual thinking and Facilitation Superpowers™ features. That means voting, summon, celebrate, private mode, templates, diagramming, and much more directly inside of Microsoft Teams. Do your best work together with MURAL + Microsoft Teams.

👉  Here’s our support article for setup tips (including making sure your O365 admins have enabled apps — or just our app!)

Add visual collaboration to Webex spaces to work better together

The MURAL App for Webex allows you to easily add a shared digital canvas to any team space in Webex and start collaborating visually using sticky notes, drawings, images, diagrams, and more. With the mural pinned to your team’s space in Webex, it’s easy to keep your work organized and the team focused with everything they need in one place.

👉  Here’s our support article for setup help (Spoiler: the Webex administrator for your company must enable Webex Tabs.)
🧠 Tip from MURALista Jesse: make a copy of our new one-on-one template and pin it to your team space. That way, agenda items always get captured and decisions are documented transparently.

Some new tricks for enterprise administrators

We’re showing love to our Enterprise Network administrators with some exclusive new features this month:

  • Monitor member actions in Enterprise Network workspaces with audit logs: We enhanced the scope of our Enterprise Network API by adding an audit log end point to provide a detailed account of member actions in MURAL for security and legal purposes. Learn more >
  • Automatically provision and deprovision members using SCIM protocol: It’s easier to pull a list of members, create new members, update a member's name and email address, or suspend a member using our Enterprise Network API. Learn more >

We also created a new hybrid video to inspire teams that will be returning to offices part time or working with distributed colleagues. Check it out and share to get colleagues excited about connecting with MURAL:

And small but mighty updates:

  • 👀 All comments and threads can be resolved! Simply click on the checkbox in the comment to resolve it, and the comment notification will disappear from the mural. Resolved threads can be reopened manually, or will be reopened automatically if any user replies to the thread.
  • 🔍 Find by object: In the find panel, you can now filter by sticky notes, text, or shapes. Try assigning each team or collaborator in your next brainstorm a specific color or shape to make it easy to find and sort ideas.
