Deep customer empathy creates shared understanding, insights, and motivation to improve the lives of our customers. We gain empathy by observing people where and when they are experiencing pains or problems.

This template will take you through the process of gaining deep customer empathy, with design thinking activities that include:

  • Defining your customers & who to observe/interview

  • How to conduct Follow Me Homes to learn what customers care about most and how they are experiencing their problem/pain point

  • Defining the Customer Problem Statement

  • Determining what the Ideal State for your customer would be
