On March 3rd, our own Jim Kalbach was joined by Parker Lee, managing partner at Territory, and Jim Van Over from the Chief Innovation Office at ServiceNow to discuss the Work Forward movement they've started - and how you can be a part of it.

The #WorkForward movement was founded in 2019 to answer the question.

"How can the business of work be better - today?"

After meeting in New York City to hatch a plan to bring this movement to the greater populace, Jim K. and Parker put on the first Work Forward Summit in October of 2019, bringing together people from EY, PayPal, WeWork, Trello, and more.

At the summit, the group worked through why we work, how we work, ways to work forward and what those principles and values might be, what a draft manifesto might look like, and how they can work together to advance the #WorkForward movement. It was great to learn the origin story of Work Forward, and hear from the leaders what's next.

Mark Tippin and some volunteers also demo'd using the Challenge Wheel template for identifying and prioritizing challenges facing us in our work (see template below for your own copy). We had a ton of questions from participants, too, all of which you can explore at the link below.
